filia’s Matching Campaign 2025 has started and runs until December 31

Authoritarian forces are brazenly undermining the pillars of our democracy. Right-wing movements are threatening feminist achievements that generations have fought for. But we will certainly not leave the field to them. We will continue to fight for the rights of women, girls and LBTIQ+ people, for freedom from violence, for diversity, participation and equality. And we do this with an annual fundraising campaign, and we do it with joy!

Enjoy the Fight

Because enjoy is full of joy – and joy can be found wherever solidarity comes to life: in Potsdam, where 30 girls meet their first professional role models; in Warsaw, where activists breathe a sigh of relief because their rent is secured for another two years; In Armenia, where self-defence training not only enables but empowers. And in countless initiatives around the world where women, girls and LBTIQ+ people are taking control of their future with courage and creativity. Joy is emerging everywhere, and not just as a result of the many hours of volunteer work. Joy drives us, it keeps us going, and it is a triumphant act of resistance.

There is a lot at stake in the coming years: the resilience of our movements and progress towards greater equality. filia is therefore committed to supporting grassroots organisations that drive structural change. Their tireless efforts range from cultural centres to radio stations, from psychological support for activists to educational opportunities for girls.

In order to continue doing this successfully – independently of government funding – we need your support. Now is the time to act and invest together – in activists, in empowerment and in a fair, diverse future.
