filia.die frauenstiftung at a glance
filia.die frauenstiftung supports projects by and for women, girls and LBTIQ+ that aim to bring about structural change – in Central and Eastern Europe and in Germany. The focus of our support is on projects and initiatives that work for freedom from violence, demand social participation and strengthen democratic structures.
filia Team
In filia’s office, staff members work in the areas of management, public relations, fundraising, project management, finance and administration.
History and Vision
Founded in 2001, filia has continued to develop. Our vision of a gender equitable world in which women, girls and LBTIQ+ can live self-determined lives guides us still.
Boards
The voluntary commitment of the members in filia’s executive board and its foundation board is an important basis for our feminist work.

At filia, a Girls Advisory Board decides on the funding of girls’ projects in Germany.

Refugee and migrant women and LBTIQ+ are involved in this advisory board, which was founded in 2020.
