Protest! Exhibition on Feminist Struggles
Protests and demonstrations are an important part of feminist movements. Being loud and visible, taking issues to the streets and fighting for FLINTA rights takes strength and courage. With their protests, activists draw attention to violence and injustice and demand fair solutions for everyone. For example, they are fighting against violence against women, against abortion bans, against racism, for sexual self-determination and for climate justice.
With the exhibition “Protest: Posts and Posters”, we celebrate the many activists worldwide who courageously and loudly take their feminist protest to the streets. The exhibition shows a selection of photos, screenshots and posters from filia’s partners in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe.
The exhibition is now online!

Good to know: FLINTA
The acronym FLINTA stands for: Female, Lesbians, Inter-, Non-binary, Trans and Agender people. All of these groups of people are among those who are discriminated against in our patriarchal society. Feminist activists are fighting for their rights and self-determination.
