Community Foundation Model

filia is an issue based community foundation model with special rules:

You become a member of the Endowment donors’ General Assembly:

  • For three years, if your endowment is at least Euro 1500.
  • For ten years, if your endowment is at least Euro 20.000.
  • Lifetime membership if your endowment is more than Euro 50.000.

The endowment donors meet once a year at the Endowment donors’ General Assembly. They exchange information and elect every three years the seven members of the Foundation Board.

Foundation Board
The women on the Foundation Board determine the policy and strategy of filia, and decide on the funding grants. They control and decide on the over all budget of filia and appoint the

Executive Board
The three women of the Executive Board function as employer. The Executive Board represents filia in all contractual and legal matters, and is responsible for the implementation of the resolutions of the Foundation Board by the Office.

All members of the foundation bodies are working on a volunteer-basis for filia.
